Any Isle of Man TT fans in the house?

I went to the inaugural Classic TT last year, not quite the same but my mate knew that I always wanted to do the TT and last year was my 40th. The idea was hatched and booked in the space of a week lol.

I was planning on taking my new doris to the TT next year, but read last night that the ferry tickets for 2015 went on sell and sold out yesterday? :(

Ah well maybe I'll check out the NW200 instead

Don't believe all you read on the internet  there are still a lot of spaces for TT2015, bear in mind and those that have booked already about 50% cancel anytime from now until next March and in many cases even later for example You can still get ferry and accommodation for this years one at face value if you want to go!

It's not sold out, but the preferred dates are completely booked. For the most part anything between the 29th - 4th and the 7/8th onwards you should be fine getting over and going back after Senior race day you'll probably find yourself back on the 14th-15th. As long as you're flexible with dates (such as going back the Monday after the final race) then you shouldn't have too much of a problem.

Aye after I posted I was looking at ferry dates. Unfortunately I looked too long and all the decent stuff is gone. Really don't want to use more than 5 days holiday, but may fly or keep an eye out for better dates.

If nothing materialises I'll go 2016 and next year do the NW200 or a Spanish/Italian round of the GPs instead.

Couldn't even get into the phone queue yesterday, but managed to book today online and got 5 nights Wednesday > Monday for 2015. That suits me - couple of days practice / tour the island, then super bike saturday and mad sunday. Only 4 days off work too :)

Cant wait for tomorrow, although the weather getting to Liverpool looks pretty horrendous!

My mate says that come January a lot of people don't pay the balance so a load of crossings will be available then.

Think we're going back to the Classic again in August, anyone else going?

I'm looking at doing the TT for the first time next year, what dates are best to book so I catch a bit of everything including the senior?

If you want to watch the senior you will have to stay on the island until tuesday as all the crossing before then are booked up.

In all honestly it doesn't make any difference which race you watch

BE QUICK,THIS HAS BEEN POSTED ON TT FB PAGE!!!!!!!!!!!

Due to work commitments i will no longer be able to make the trip over to the TT..(gutted!) so i have 3 tickets available for the ferry (with bikes) all sailing on the 6.30 from liverpool on sun 31st....2 return on mon 9th and one for wed 3rd... Also campsite at glen wyllie is all paid for!! Open to sensible offers or they will be going in the bin!! Let me know if interested

I liked how they went on about being British and what not yet the fundamental parts of their race bike are manufactured outside the UK.

Saw this pop up on the TT Facebook page last night, bit of a brown trouser moment to say the least!

Great isn't it. nowhere on earth like it.
I head across tomorrow

Well Jell (< See I'm down with the kids :p)

Commentary is brilliant but there music choice can be a bit dodgy, I have to keep the remote handy to turn it down quick when they play ****. :p

I'm really enjoying the ITV4 coverage as well, Of course it's nowhere near long enough but still the variety & the interviews with racers X racers Noob racers has been great.

Special mention to Milky - The way he gets involved & his enthusiasm pours out the telly.
