yeah thats the year i spent night in the cell, on the saturday night after the bands lol!

Million to one chance we could have brushed shoulders:D. I spent the best part of the the weekend at the front getting my ribs crushed on the main stage oh the memory's.

spent the night in a cell x3 and a few hours in a fishtank court cell.

ive known people who spent time in glen parva , lincoln and nottingham prison aswell as some guy who was at an open prison.

some of them didnt seem to mind and came out the same as they went in , others came out really well built after 4 years inside and with a bad atitude + violent.

all of them came out with a new skill one of them trained to be a mechanic which i thought was pretty cool, didnt stop him getting addicted to crack though.

but these were all well known hard people i imagine its a bad experience if you arent the criminal type and you cant look after yourself

Coincidence or what?
Just been released at 12:30pm after getting nicked at 19:20 last night.

I must say there were all very nice and i was treated great, on-suit too and a bottomless plastic cup of coffee.

The good old boys in blue

Did you get offered an all day breakfast in a tin:(.

I seem to recall a thread along these lines last year and some of the folks here had been inside. I've been in a lot of prisons when i used to do the IT support, they're quite intimidating places, though i always found the Womens and young offenders places to be the worst violence.

You did IT support in Women prisons I'm surprised being salved of men they weren’t wanting to help turn your floppy disk into a hard disk.........GETS COAT :p

(by the way i'm guessing your a bloke)

Yep. 12 years maximum security. Tell you what, you don't know what it's like to take a breath of this air without having to wonder if it's your last.

You dont know what it's like to wake up when the baton tells you to.
You dont know what it's like to only eat when they shout "chow down".
You dont know what it's like to only shower when they say "clothes off".
You dont know what it's like to be too scared to sleep when they shout "lights out".
When your body is no longer your own. Your opinions, no longer heard. Your time, borrowed from the guards and given back when told.
I can spot a man with a weapon from 60 yards, just by the look in his eyes. I can spot a man with a dark corner and a bad idea, just by the way he walks.

You wern't there man. You wern't there.

Spent my late teens in and out of court and police cells, ended up getting a conditional discharge for a year when i was for sure doomed and going down with a added charge of intimidation of a witness added on just weeks before, but the judge took pity on me and i have not looked back since. So close but no cigar!

I was reading a book called Other Peoples Money and the boy had done a few stretches for credit card fraud. He is a self confessed pussy but he said it was actually alright. He wasn't too fond of the prison in Canada but he fraudulently wired some funds to the brutes who ran the wing to get them on side.

Good book, I'd recommend it. The guy lives round the corner from me.
