Any OcUKers Spent time?

Spent a night in the cells for civil disorder, that's about it. It's literally like what you see on the TV - an empty room with a 'bed' that's really just a big soft shelf.

I'd imagine prison would be a totally different kettle of fish. Angry, tattoo'd bumsexing fish.
 
That pistonheads link is a very very good read, I remember reading about it in the Motors forum a while ago. Recommend it to anyone who has any interest in what prison life is like.
 
Yep, true account of what prison is like, people that call it cushy are lying or spend so much time in and out of jail prefer it to their criminal life.
 
Spent lots of nights in cells, and been to court for an ipprisonable offence but didnt get time.

To be honest, the worst thing about being in cells is the utter lack of idea about what time it is. Constant bright artificial light, no windows, nothing to mark one minute from the next unless you get some food.. Minutes seem like days. That being said though, that wouldnt be the case in proper prison.. But then, youd also have other people to deal with :D

That piston heads link is well worth a read, I read that myself when I was going to court and facing the possibility of prison.
