Any problems with Be tonight?

Someone on the digitalspy forums

Just got through to O2 and they got 280 people waiting to be connected. An udate to one of there firewalls today is the cause.

No time of fix known yet but engineers are on site

yep borked for me aswell, Google not working, infact a lot of sites not working

To top it off I have about 10 outages lasting a day at a time in my area last few months alone
 
hmmm my be connection is hardly ever down, It had been up for 15 days solid and even then possibly longer as I switched off the router and prior to that it was 23 days of uptime.

Connection has been excellent until now, I havnt even tweaked it yet, still using the standard bebox until my DG834GT turns up.

Sold my 834GT in favour of the BeBox

The Netgear's really aren't that amazing. Once you get past the quirky UI there's not really much of a reason to change to the Netgear (I don't use the wifi on the Speedtouch, if that's a reason).

I swapped the O2 Box for a DG834 and then swapped back because it did some strange DNS resolving stuff with my MacBook.

The BeBox is actually quite good.
Other then the user interface they are about the same, decided to sell the Netgear and havn't looked back. Made myself 30 quid :)
