Hi there,
I'm currently trying to sort out an issue for a work colleague. He has recently had a shed built in his back garden which he intends to use as a home office.
His router is located quite some distance from where he proposes to work, and the signal quality is very poor. Is there a device which could be purchased to ampliy or repeat the wifi signal.
The router he is currently using is a D-Link DSL 27408. This router has three antennae attached to it in its standard configuration.
I have seen a website purporting to sell more powerful antennae. If I was to purchase one of the said antennae, would I need to replace all three of the antennae on the router with more powerful ones, or could I get away with replacing just one of them?
Cheers
