Any Way to Recover a Shift Delete?

As title really can any one recommend me a recovery programme to restore some files I shift deleted in XP? - Otherwise its hours of re-rendering!

Ive tried many. None work, well at least none managed to recover a single image file. I lost about 10 nights out and a holiday of photos

oh and a year of uni work and a file i had with all my passwords in it!

Lol, the funny thing (if you can say that) is that I was about to burn it all to DVD but was doing some house keeping on old stuff! That'll teach me to name things better and to use the recycle bin in the future......
