Anybody Know some Hi Def Games

All games ever produced in the history of games.

I know this may have been said slightly tongue in cheek, but as you've been quoted I feel I ought to put out that this isn't strictly true, there are plenty of older PC games that don't support HD resolutions

Very true, for those who don't know:

Will help with a big chunk of older games needing a higher res not supported by game.

I love how many people have been conned into thinking 'high def' is something amazing rather than just... a higher screen resolution.

Yeah, it winds me up all the time.

Along with the "Full HD" "1080p" moniker using crowd.

p refers to progressive. 1080 is sufficient. I blame mobile phones and consoles....and TV marketing! :D

But seriously, someone regex 1080 to 1920x1080 in the PC Games section...PLEASE :D

I think I got my 19" 1600x1200 CRT back around 2000. It's still going now but lives in the spare bedroom :)

Probably the 'best' upgrade I ever bought.

Hi-Def now is surely those 2560x1600 screens ? ( I haven't got one yet :()

16:9 / 1920 x 1080 resolution are so rubbish!

*Hugs my 16:10 1920x1200 screen.

1080p is sooo old school now, it baffles me too why people think that out of date tech is good just because it has become a cheapo standard (just a massive excuse for display manufacturers not to have to make anything for the masses at a higher res than 1080p).

Also my 1200p monitor is over 3 years old now!

Currently if I was getting a new monitor, I wouldnt accept anything less than this beast:

Haha, high definition games.

Try Quake, I heard that's pretty high definition.

Not sure what's worse, this thread or the fact the OP has bought Alienware... :p
