Anyone been to The Fat Duck?

No but sort of tempted. I did however go to the "Burger Joint" at the Parker Meridian the burger place he went to in NYC, i think i was there first though
 
Apologies for resurrecting this, but can anyone who's been recently and sampled the tasting menu let me know if they had this at the weekend or during the evening? I've been given two gift vouchers as Christmas presents and I'll want to sample the tasting menu, but everyone I know who has been has gone there on a weekday for lunch.

I went in November, but didn't have the tasting menu. Since we went in the evening we didn't really have time; I'd want a good three hours to get though that.

It was pretty good, but if I was spending my own money I've been to better. Some things (like the venison) were fantastic, the best I've had, but the some things, like the frankincense tea were downright foul.

Service was very good, although I had to ask some things twice because I simply didn't understand the reply given by our French waiter.
