Anyone bought a console for one game?

Bought a xbox 1 for halo & a 360 for pgr wow that was a good game i clocked a lot of time on that one

Got my PS3 for WipEout HD. Played the hell out of that game, but got turned off playing it after Sony shoved adverts in the loading sequence

i would have to say the only console i ever bought becuse of a game was the GameCube for Resident Evil Series.

A Dreamcast for the improved graphics on RE2. Turned out a great purchase as the DC was just an amazing console.

I haven't actually that I can think of... maybe the original xbox for Halo 1. I never really count it as just for that game though as other games always come along.

I bought a white PS3 that I will never plug in because it has a picture of Final Fantasy on it, does that count?

yup, bought my xbox (big black box) purely for halo (CE) and bought my PS2 solely for tekkan. i bought my second xbox 360 (after selling my first) so i could play halo 3.

I bought my PS3 the day that GTA4 came out (bundled with it), but I didn't buy it with that game specifically in mind, it's just when I decided to buy it. Don't think any game is worth £300!

I think Halo (CE) stand for custom edition which was PC only

I bought my PS3 for Little Big Planet (+ wanted to try MGS) I played the beta loads but the full game for about 2 hours... Then with MGS i made it 15mins after the first cutscene an haven't played it since. I don't think the PS3 is bad or anything I just can never get into the games but I'm kind of similar on the 360 unless there is some good multiplayer to be had.
