Anyone considered solid state yet?

I just ordered a 16gb one, havent had it delivered yet though. The idea is to have just the vista boot OS, apps and games can go on my 750gb.

My windows directory is currently 14.4GB on Vista 64Bit so 16GB is cutting it a bit close. Especially since you never get the full size of a drive.

Vlite will massivley shrink that install size. I would never install vista without it, cuts out all the bloatware.

SUPER TALENT SSD32GB25, would set you back about £800 for 2 raided, 64GB is plenty of space for an OS and a apps & some games games, (12gb+ for crysis, 8Gb for CoD4 etc)
60 read 45 write sustainable each, now that matches some single drives and you get a bigger boost out of raid. My OS + Apps (like photoshop etc) comes to 19GB

There are many plus's but the main con is the price but thats just a time thing, the new ipod tought uses 16GB flash and its tiny compared to the 20GB 4G one.
