yea im feeling down, mainly cos i fancy the pants of a girl who im really close with but she has a boyfriend (though they are on the verge of breaking up) i dont wanna be a rebound guy however :o

My girlfriend got with me not long after leaving her ex boyfriend.

6 months later we're still together and as strong as ever. :)

Rebounds can, and do, work.

Dont deny it iCraig - im also confused to the point, am i in the friends zone... or not.

She knows i like her, well i think she does lol - but she does seem well at of my league at the same time :(

Gah, friends zone = pain.

Just play it cool and do everything she wants that her boyfriend doesn't, be her friend but constantly flirt and show her that you want her.

0-Sexty in under 2 days. ;)

You've found girls who will let you get on with your own stuff and pay for themselves at dinner/the movies? Share!

I know a girl that wont even let me buy her the smallest thing, not even lunch

I know what you're going through. I lost all hope and faith in life a long time ago. There's not really any big secret I or anyone else can tell you. You just have to keep on going or prepare yourself for death, and that's never a good option however you feel.

I'd suggest talking with your GP, antidepressants and psychotherapy may be of use to you and it's definitely worth exploring. In any case they'll be more help at fixing these problems than a forum.

E-mail and msn in trust if you feel like talking to someone, although I certainly recommend a professional above me.

Its good to get things off your chest i agree.

I went to uni after passing all my IT courses too with good grades, Lasted a couple of months and left, had £1500 dept same as you im sure (ive still got £400).
If you have real (i mean not super ficial) mates then you dont need to see them every day / week. friends will stick around etc. i dont see some of my mates for weeks / months but i can still say their true friends.

About the Girl. Same old same old. I know it hurts but ive been thier too, YOU WILL get over it. but i know saying that makes no difference atall. Also i had the same problem with the job, man sounds so familier. but persistance got me through!!!!!!!!!!

my advice:

Keep going, dont get down, you will get their in the end!! KEEP SMILING :):):):)

And I can tell you know how hard this life can be
But you keep on smiling for me

So what went right
What went wrong
Was it a story or was it a song
Was it over night
Or did it take you long
Was knowing your weakness what made you strong

That is Weird, I am also feeling quite down at the moment and my situation sounds very similar to yours, just a year behind you! (even did a national diploma in ICT and got DDD  )

that is strange

I have decided to not go to university as I think im not cut out for it :o
Im doing an MCDST which should help me get a pretty good starting job (fingers crossed)
I think that once I get a decent job i will relax and enjoy myself a lot more

It feels a lot better to have a vision and some ambition

remember, you have to work very hard if you want something (I like the feeling that I get when im trying very hard at something, it drives me to try even harder)

Hi,

I was in the exact same position as you. I left college with my triple distinction grade and off to University. I didn't enjoy it at all. The place wasn't for me. I dropped out feeling depressed and the thought of failing wasn't great considering I've always worked hard and achieved something. I started a I.T. Support role after dropping out, which was fun initially however I decided to find a University that would suit me (a vocational type degree that was more geared to continuing from a national diploma, rather than going to an academic university). The job got boring and the pay sucked. I didn't fancy staying and climbing that imaginary bent ladder. It was the best decision I made going back to Uni and it worked out great. Am loving it and cannot wait until I start my second year. :)

If you fancy a chat, email me. Best of luck :)

Girls shouldn't be the center of your attention fellas, they're such a bad time and money sink.

I try to follow what my father has taught me about them: "all women are ****es, except our mothers." Of course I haven't been able to follow his thinking, and I am not too sure about the last part either.

O and the girl has pretty much closed me out of her life now having met "charlie". Seems he is filling my position rather well. :o
