Anyone else disappointed with the Bioshock demo?

Only thing i didn't much care for was the irritating token IRISH guy on the radio. Hope we dont have to put up with his **** for long.
And the sentry turrets. The game seemed to walk you through the learning process very well up until that point, then it dropped u in at the deep end and I was like wha? how do i kill/hack/turn these off?
Another thing is I miss having a Walk key. Just doesn't feel right when you hear splicers muttering around the corner, and u have no choice than to charge straight in because there is no walk button to approach stealthily.
But aside from some small points, the game really does everything you'd ever want from an FPS. It looks good, the guns feel good, it has interesting and scary enemies, and theres even a bit of RPG elemnt thrown in.

K just a heads up for you guys having trouble playing the demo downloaded from steam. After a few mins digging around the net it appears the steam download damages the direct-x install. All you need to do and all i did was reinstall direct-x and bingo now working no problems with all options available.

I just played through the demo and I'm stunned, the first game since HL2 that has made me go "wow" out loud at something. With the lights off and the sound up its dramatic enough to get your heart beating.

I thought the demo was great, aint finished it yet as i got murdered off that bloody sentry turret , and runs like a dream for me 1280x1024 maxed to hilt, aint seen below 50 odd, ive seen more in the 70's than owt else, even seen it go into the hundreds, runs amazing, Dx9 btw, even tried forcing the AA on through the NVCP, 16x with supersampling and it was still running great, just slightly slured when looking around, but with 2x/4x its stonking.
Ill be picking it up on Friday as it seems like its gona be a decent game, if a little weird
, aint really got a clue whats going on, mainly been going around smoking, getting bladdered, eating chips, and that old style music is well funny, i can just imagine the band in the background with their chellos and stuff, and wearing penguin suits, makes me think of Jeeves and Wooster.

How do u get AA to be applied, or is it just the resolution that eliminates *** jaggies?
something does look odd about the graphics in the game, looks BIG, big textures or something.

lol its not a console port if anyone else says this im gonna bash them over the head the pc version was dev in oz and the 360 version in the states it was written from scratch for the pc and xbox by 2 branches of the same company
