Grrrrrrr , you know what i mean your suddenly there costing for a nice easy victory and some robbing git or computer, times it too the absolute pefection and you either lose or robbed of victory.it can be quite maddening sometimes . Who else gets his mariokart rage.

Yeah Mario Kart has always been an infuriating game
One of those games where skill isn't rewarded as much as it should be
You can be coasting in front after a perfect race, given a couple of blue/red shells and you're at the back of the pack

I used to get angry that no matter what box i ran over I'd always end up with a sodding skiddy banana
In first they're exactly what you want.

Respect to the triple bananas. Some power ups I find shockingly crap in this are: The Blue shell, Super mushroom and the sodding storm cloud.

Super Mario Kart was. The best player would always win.
Aye, it can be cheap. The blue shell frustrates me, as it never benefits the person firing it. If you're in 9th, it doesn't really help you to take out the guy in 1st, so that the guy in 2nd can win. Seems a bit stupid to me. Red shells make much more sense.
Gotta say I agree about the bananas in first place, they're very useful for defence. Trail them behind you and you're pretty much safe from shells and the like. Can use the boxes and shells in this way too.
Gotta say, the golden mushroom has saved my bacon a few times, getting me from the middle of the pack to the front just before the race is over!

Storm cloud is usually OK, assuming there is someone else around to pass it on to.

had some 4-player MK wii last night and there were a few choice words being thrown at the screen by everyone lol
it is quite annoying how you can be leading for the entire race and have quite a decent lead too only to have blue shells or red shells hit you then out of no where 5 people come storming past you.
I guess with MK anythin can happen, it's not over till the fat lady sings lol

there were no triple bananas in snes version
(the times i used to get angry!)I think I lose more races on MK through laughing my arse off - friends bitch fighting in the room
(well- double dash- havent bought wii yet as dissertation isn't finished )
