I hate Rainbow Road. I always end up in a series of races with some pillock who keeps selecting Rainbow Road over and over and who clearly has too much time on their hands who knows every bend on that course and is probably doing it with their eyes shut while 11 people drive off the side over and over.

I hate that course.

Luigi Circuit is also an arse, as has been said. I was miles ahead the other day, then got brutalised on the last lap and lost 223 points to a bunch of 5k n00bs.
 
Meh, you win some, you lose some. Last night I played 10 races, and in the first 7 I won six and came third in the other. After that I got 10th, 8th and 9th. Ended up with just over 7000.

Three things help a lot:

* Being on one of the first two rows at the start (so you have a clear view to get a decent start).
* That you do the wheelies and tricks as much as possible.
* Use the wiimote and nunchuck. Since you straighten up automatically once you let go of the analogue stick you have a huge advantage over the wii wheel users.

I get serious Mario anger in all Mario games. Currently trying to finish Galaxy and I have stormed out of the room and kicked the cat* - I imagine the same will happen when I get Mario Kart when I get back from Germany.



* I did not really kick the cat.
