For the record as per suggestions in this thread we've changed the link style (dotted underline) so it's different to normal links in your posts, disabled it for the life forums, and added the option for registered members to disable it completely (look in your user cp, edit options, thread display options).

Oh when I went to my profile it seems that Favourite Sport is a required field now in Registration area. Probably meant to be optional and in other similar interest fields list?

Nah it's like a captcha to weed out bots/morons. You need to put 'Overclocking' in there or you get denied.
