Anyone else getting these links on the forum?

As time went on I would probaly end up ignoring any underlined link, including those created by posters. So these advertising links must be made clear in some way, so I know which to ignore.

Easy enough but the trick is knowing which part of the post to search on - not as easy as somebody typing a search string in.

Look at the resources of Google, and the complete mess they make of adsense nine times out of ten ;)

Would you be able to give each product a nickname for the forum link on the OcUK product page to make it easier and consistent?

I have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm just speculating :p

Dont see why any one even has a problem with this...it doesnt really affect any ones post except for puttin a line under a word. End of the day if you dislike it that much dont come onto the forums :S

I like how the campaign is listed that the link is referenced from the forum rather then from some unknown origin. Telescopi, you could add some more meta data into that, like the forum id, to see if it came from hardware forum or GD and see where you get more clicks from.

Its a pretty sweet idea and from the looks of things good implementation.

I really don't mind this. At the end of the day these forums have always been here to support the shop (imo) and so this is a logical step. I am sure I will get used to this quite quickly :)
