Anyone else hate birthdays ?

Got one coming up and dreading it ....

The fake niceness smiles etc

The crappy disappointing gifts and parties.

Last year was good because I was on holiday no fuss !

Haven't enjoy one since I was 8 (BIKE YAY!)

Might try to sleep for 24hrs or something..

Yes, I don't like attention.
I was always grateful my birthday didn't fall in term time for both school and uni

edit: I Like birthdays as it's just an excuse to party!

edit 2: I also believe the fact I've managed to survive another year genuinely astonishes people myself included I had me pegged for dying during my teens and now here I am approaching 30 :eek:

I've never really enjoyed them and it's a lot of fake smiles. I think part of my issue though is not having my own birthday

I share mine with my mum so it's her fault!

Hate? no, Indifferent? yes! just another day, dont enjoy people making a fuss about it, i'm perfectly happy with the company of a couple of mates for a bite to eat and a couple of beers.
