Ever since day one I have always had problems with EE Website -(I do NOT use the app ) Just been on again and click profile and the pages just go round and round - Nothing you want comes up -It doesn't even show a Account number.
I am on a sim package for two sims with 21gig of Data which I do not use all for a cost of £18 with unlimited calls -I now want to downgrade to calls only and if possible drop cost from £18 a month to around £10-£12.
Can anyone see if they do a call only package for a few quid less.
I have read the other threads on here about new sim cards but it confuses me - Nothing is explaned in OAP language,
I will be going up the town and will pop in a Phone shop and ask there when I get the chance.
I can remember when it used to be dead easy for people like me but things have changed. Normally I never get angry and want to smash things but mobile phones really does wind me up.

Same for most mobile phone providers for some reason - not great designs and frequently down for maintenance or having some kind of issue with loading, etc.

In a similar situation, the website is pretty rubbish. Apparently my sim plan will no longer be supported and i need to move to a different one.
Currently on hold waiting to speak to someone for over 20 mins. The music is so bad/annoying and terrible quality..

The cheapest sim only I see on the website is the 5GB No Frills for £10 a month with a max data speed of 10Mbps which you may not be bothered by.

[edit] I signed up to a retention offer of 10gb sim for £13 a month with 100Mbps speeds.

You'll probably get better customer service from the off brands that use the main networks

Currently with talk home £3.50 rolling monthly 5gb uses EE I get exactly the same coverage I was getting with EE

ID mobile unlimited data used in 5g router uses three it's giving me 300-500mb speeds for £15 rolling monthly or £10 12 month contract with no price rises

You need a degree in EE to get round their website, it can feel like an endless loop.

Swapping my smart benefits takes a few too many steps IMO, I know people like my dad would struggle. Maybe that's the point.

I think it is pretty broken.

At one point I was a mobile and broadband customer, but even after complaining they seemed completely unable to pair my mobile and broadband profiles together.

On top of that, some old profiles had caused issues so I had to sign up with different email aliases to get things working. Nightmare.

At least they give me decent deals on my SIM.

EE has the worse website in exsistance, just an endless loop and they're overpriced as well. Glad we left them.

I asked them to do this and they wouldn't do it either. They couldn't make it one direct debit either, but I guess that makes a touch more sense.

The weird thing was that I was supposed to get some perks as a result - certainly a data increase and maybe some BT Sport thing as well.

But since they couldn't pair it, it just straight up didn't work.

They ended up manually bolting a data boost on :/

That's annoying, considering their size, they do act like a Mickey Mouse outfit.

Thing is I get GamePass for "free" with my mobile contract so it almost pays for itself (£24 I think I pay, unlimited data, free GP Ultimate).

If not for that I'd probably go elsewhere.
