anyone else hate the taste of water?

Try a Britta filter, it really makes a difference :)

Tastes much much worse in my opinion! I know it's almost defintely better for me but filtered and bottled water is not as nice as the tap water to my taste buds.

The filter/cooler tap we have at work is just awful, I can't drink a glass of that whereas I can drink litres of tap water with ease.

There's this spring water in Cyprus called Agros - it's bottled in the Troodos mountains and it's absolutely fabulous. Often if I drive through the mountains I'll always fill a couple of jerry cans straight from the source - it's wonderful, free beautiful crisp mineral water when it's 30+ outside. Wonderful.

Competitor! :D

water is soft here in sw london, pretty decent but only drink it if out of robinsons :D

people saying water is better up north, is this based on any research or have you been to every part of britain and sampled the local tap water?

I drink quite a bit of water, doesn't taste of much... Never had a problem with any water I've drank wherever I've lived.

Water tastes great from the tap up here, its all i drink apart from maybe a cup of tea once or twice day.
However i do find tap water has very soft taste whenever im down south and what i can only describe as 'bleeughh' taste.

As for bottled, well, yeah, mainly its a bit of a con, but im one of the suckers who buys a pack a week :) Tap water at work is different though, we're on an industrial site, not the greatest quality so bring my own

I'd much rather drink water out of the tap than go to a shop and pay money for it. That's one of the biggest cons in the world that is, and I'm still amazed at how many idiots fall for it.
Try drinking tap water in my flat - you'd probably vomit.

Leave it for a day or two on the side and it smells like a latrine.

Thats because british water tastes crap, unless your talking about bottled water which is much much better. But tap water here really does taste awful...

I think you need to try tap water in some other countries, having said that water tastes different in different parts of each country.
