anyone else hate the taste of water?

There are tons of these kinds of drinks on the market at the moment (vitamin water being another) that are laughable. They make numerous claims of what their product can/can't do, coupled with weasel words, and fail to provide a shred of evidence on their websites that they work.
Ive drunk tap water in Canada/America and most of the other places ive been to and i find them better than here...wouldnt catch me drinking tap water from say pakistan or india though lol. Perhaps its a London thing but the tap water here is truly vile to the extent that i throw up a little everytime im forced to drink it.
I just pick up the el cheapo 4 pack sainsburys bottled water...none of this Evian overpriced garbage.
You don't hate water, you hate the taste of minerals or chemicals in the water.
Everything contains water, it is essential for life.
As suggested, try filtering tap water as the filters such as Brita are designed to remove the chemicals added to the national water supply such as chlorine, as well as a portion of the minerals found in harder water.
If that doesn't do it, try various mineral waters, they all have very different compositions, try one, look at what minerals it contains and then if you don't like it, find another with less.
Personally I find Aqua-Pura has the least flavour of all the mineral waters as it really does contain tiny amounts of the majority of minerals, especially compared to Evian which has quite a large amount in it.
Personally I drink tap water, but I have just got used to the chlorinated taste we get in Manchester, probably because I swam a lot as a kid, it doesn't bother me.
Either way, i'd suggest you find a way to learn to like water as its pretty darned important

I find drinking water a very very subjective thing!!!
When I lived with my parents, I loved the tap water there, I could and would literally drink nothing but water while there straight from the tap, it didn't even need to be chilled.
Now I live only a few miles from there, the water is vile from the tap and has to be well chilled before I can drink it.
Both are hard water areas but I used to live in a country village and now I live in the town...
As for Bottled waters, I find some of them horrid...Evian being one of the worst in my opinion, it tastes very plasticy to me. My personal favourite is Volvic!
