anyone else hate the taste of water?

Tap water > bottled water.

However, on our Gold DofE hike, drinking straight out of a corrie lake with no purification tablets etc since it was completely pure water anyway, on the side of a mountain in the Lake district, tasted much better

Also ice cold.

I'm not aware of any bottled surface water, you can get spring water and mineral water - both have filtered through earth and rock before getting to you. Drinking from a moutain stream is surface water - at best filtered through some moss / top soil.

Nice water here in south wales, I think cocacola even tried to bottle it and sell it before people quickly realised what it was..

Used to think tap water was fine, then the other week because of the weather I bought a watercooler that sits on the kitchen worktop. It takes a britta filter and the water is ice cold. Now when I get home from work if the kids have drank it all I go mental, tap water will never taste the same again :rolleyes:

I can drink any old "ocker-watter" if I'm thirsty enough, but I don't enjoy it.

In order to enjoy it it's got to have a bit of cordial in it.

Insider Knowledge :-

Don't waste money on an expensive water filter if your water tastes too strongly of Chlorine (In places like London and other big cities) then just fill a jug up and keep it in the Fridge for a few hours and the taste will magically go away (Or at least it does taste better)

i normally get thru 2L of bottled water a day, but its free at work so i dont care. Our tap water here is quite chalky, but i still drink it. still tastes.....like water lol

its enough to kill my fish tho nitrate & nitrite lvls are higher than in my actual tank with fish poop in it

Water is sooo nice. Especially Schweppes Malvern water when it's ice cold mmmmm.
