Employers only have exception to record you in certain places such as toilets and changing areas so there is nothing you can do.
At my work place we have cameras setup all over the place so the boss can kept an eye on us from his home....
There even one in the lunch room so he can check we don't take longer then 10minutes for lunch
I don't think that's so bad. Could you use them in your proper lunch break?
They cannot enforce that rule on breaks/lunchtime as far as I'm aware.

Rest breaks at work
A worker is entitled to an uninterrupted break of 20 minutes when daily working time is more than six hours. It should be a break in working time and should not be taken either at the start, or at the end, of a working day.

I thought using CCTV on your workers is illegal.
IN FACT, I remember Spie coming on these forums and telling us that he suspected somebody was stealing but he could only turn the cameras on when everybody had gone home.
Perhaps the laws have changed since then.

No, can't use them during personal time at all whilst on the premises. The minute you enter the building, your mobile has to be off regardless of when your shift begins or whatever personal/unpaid time you have.
It's just petty and ridiculous, implemented for no reason other than a means to control staff. From senior management to regional sales to lower level management, they're all power happy control freaks.
