Anyone else have zero creativity?

I used to when I was little. I used to write loads of stories and my teacher told my parents they were amazing for my age.

Then the weight of the world bore down on me and crushed it. :(

Or more likely your stories stayed the same quality as you aged and thus became average then substandard for your age as you got older :p

annoyingly i can see what i want to draw build etc but i just don't have the skill to do it :(

Creativity comes with happiness. Perhaps something is wrong in your life? Try and find things that you enjoy, and perhaps the inspiration will come by itself.

I'm blessed with bags of creativity (helpful for a writer). I just find that ideas come really easily. Ideas for anything too - business and advertising strategies, characters, plot twists: just about anything, really.

Start small and work your way up. If you're interested in writing, write a short scene from a film. Imagine it in playing your head and then put pen to paper. Then go back and rewrite it. Every time you revisit and edit the piece it will become better and your style will flower. I did that very thing recently and it's being filmed soon :D

Go with a single, simple idea and expand it. I often think that creativity is helped by logic (doesn't sound right, does it?!). If I need a character to figure something out, o get to a location I think logically how he would accomplish those things and then little cool ideas sprout off that.

Normally I can't draw etc.

But give me Lego, K'nex etc etc.

I will be as creative as you like and make things.

I like to build things.

But drawing, nah.

I can draw (the best willies in the goggles boom of last week were mine) and paint pretty well and I can make things and I have a good creative streak in terms of business. I am totally devoid of musical talent and would love not to be.

My father was a published writer and poet, I don't seem to have creativity flowing from the same channels he did.

I am creative in slightly more boring areas I feel. :p

I used to love drawing, never find the time. Last thing I done was paint a crusader on small canvas. Wasn't too bad actually...

is coding being creative??

Stelly

Yes if it comes intuitively. Like being able to think in code. No if it is learend from a book and you can't be felxible.

I have some creative juices but my brother has the lions share. My biggest problem is having the energy to unleash them after a day at the coalface. :(

My wife has a creative flair playing the trumpet/cornet - she can hear a tune and replicate it after a few listens.
