Thats how I feel to, though I enjoyed 2142 as well.
I just feel their are way to many unlocks, when I first tried BF3 and jumped into a jet only to find I could only use the gun and all the others things needed to be unlocked

Delta force black hawk down/joint ops those bring back some awesome gaming memories, back when a clan and multiplayer games lasted a few years with expansions nothing like today when they keep rolling the next game out ever year or two instead of just making the last one better!
I think there's something in each battlefield title that's better that the rest, much preferred the hover jets on bf2, the destruction in bad company 2 with tanks smashing through full buildings, and in Vietnam being able to hear a players music blasting (ice cream van tune for example) as he drove/flew past was hilarious!

I can't stand the game, bought the whole premium thing and have only played a few times since launch due to it being very buggy and just a pile of **** in general, I uninstalled about 2 months ago because it was just taking up space.

Some of the most hilarious moments ever were in that game. We discovered you could get a dingy inside a transport helicopter, so 6 of us flew the heli to as high as it would go over a capture point far inland which was being contested by dozens of people on each side.
The game had a bug where you wouldn't receive any fall damage if you were in a vehicle.
So in the middle of a firefight a dingy drops out of the sky with 6 guys in it who jump out guns blazing (followed shortly by a helicopter crashing to the ground)
Just loads of comments in the on screen chat 'WTF?!! DINGY!!??'
I think I've got a screenshot somewhere were we was zipping about in a dingy upside down cos it glitched.
I remember once getting a chinook to the top of the map with a jeep and then I drove the jeep out and some random kid got pushed out and he died then I landed my jeep on him and drove away!
He wasnt happy!
Bring back that game!
