Anyone else like Budweiser Zero?

Sainsburys
They do another one now too, same size bottle and Session Ale, actually really very good for what it is: https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/product/low-alcohol-drinks/session-ale-05-500ml

Also vote for Heineken 0, Brooklyn Special Effects and Guinness, all really very drinkable and beery.

Had a Beavertown Lazer Crush IPA tonight, and it's not at all beery. It's a sweet soft drink.

This Brulo one is the most actually beery one I've tried. Not cheap when you buy it on a high street speciality shop though (£3+), but really impressive:

I could never understand the point of alcohol free lager.

Maybe things have improved since then but I still would not try it myself.

I'm teetotal and don't want to limit myself to fruit juice, soft drinks and water so alcohol free lager does the job very nicely for me. We've also got quite a few alcohol free spirits. As with the lager, some are better than others.

And yes, they've definitely improved. Can't say I understand why you'd refuse to try them though, worst case is you try one, don't like it and don't have another.

I don't like the taste of lager, I only liked the effects of the alcohol, it was an ends to a means. Now I have not drunk in over 20 years and I have no plans to start again.

You can afford it.
The good days are coming to an end - mortgage paperwork came through last week; exchanging/completing soon enough and they I will be properly brasic.

This isn't a great review:

He is flogging it because it isn't great for 0%?

Where does he say its isnt great?

He doesn't I'm just suspicious of someone flogging my only use case.

My old boss has one and while he doesn't drink zero beer he loves the machine. I cant see any reason why a keg of zero alc beer would be any different..... :)

Tell you what, you buy one and if you dont like it I will take it off your hands.....at a large discount for doing you a favour.

I actually can't believe these are 500 quid. @200sols what's the game? Are they worth that much $$? I'd also hate for it to go wrong after a year or 2...or 5 at that cost.

Edit: Yeah can't get the maths to work on that £2.45/litre versus a low of £1.67/litre - £1.92/litre for the cans.

Sounds like he was using it in a bar and now doesn't need it. Lots of pubs etc have these for the zero alcohol kegs.

I paid £459 with 4 kegs, 24 birra moretti pint glasses and some accessories iirc. Pre covid purchase, prices went up when everyone wanted one when the pubs closed.

Maths isnt going to work out, if you want cheap beer buy cans its as simple as that. If you want a pub quality or better pint at home buy this.
