I'm not suprised people will not participate in forums, everything is analized so deeply, when all people want is an honest reply to a simple question.

You'll find the other sub-forums much more friendly, it's just this one which is full of bored internet predators.

Also, I really like your mini. My dad had one just like it when they were new, until he rolled it driving it around an icy runway, he still has some good pictures of it though.

It's probably stationary. I bet his mate's hiding behind the car after kicking all the sand/dust about. :p

I restore Min's for a hobby and rust is a major issue with these cars, join a local club and get someone who knows them well to come along to view a potential purchase

Converted to fuel injection as well so she could use it as her daily driver

Lovely work mate, needs some nice minilites to finish it off.

If you have no experience of Mini's you don't know how passionate people get about them.

I have experience, yet I still fail to see why people get passionate about them.

They're slow, have terrible brakes, handle poorly, are more basic than a S1 Elise, uncomfortable, noisy, rot like nothing else and are generally pretty crap in every sense.

On the positive side they look cute. But they again, so does my cat and it's probably faster and corners better too.

Minis seem to be for car enthusiasts who don't like driving, they prefer to spend a sunny Sunday in the garage with an arc welder.

Had an N Reg Monte Carlo (Ltd-Ed) with a Cooper 'S+' Pack on it!... just a tad over 100bhp (on a dyno)... Went like stink.. scared the bejebus out of me on a regular basis!...

Wilton carpets & mats, Full Leather, Maple Dash & Cappings, Alloy Door bits... Mmmmmmmmm

It was my pride and joy, but had to sell it for practicality reasons!... but I would love another one!!!..
