anyone else sticking to windows 7?

Sigh... so I'm running my backups using a Windows 10 device... when it halts on this file...

This is a file I've compiled myself from source
back in the virus business i see.
 
Steam ending W7 support in 240 odd days means I’ll finally drag my “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” ancient behind to W10.

Which means by that time W10 will have about 18 months before MS kills support for that too :cry:

Might aswell go straight to W11.

Isn't a bit longer than that, i thought it was more like two and a half years.

Also even though they've said they won't extend support for Win10 can anyone really see them sticking to that, because i can't. At least not with how slow the uptake for 11 has been so far, isn't it only being used by something like 20% of all Windows users.

Supported ends in 2025, not sure which month. Could be 31st December 2025 for all what we know.

But rumours are saying Win12 will be out by then.
