Anyone else want to drop O2 since the new tariffs?

The new tariffs suck! I want my 600 minutes/500 text/Unlimited Data again thank you!

I'm seriously considering dropping O2 and going to another carrier. The pure arrogance they have to charge that much for the people who just want the new iPhone badly.

Anyone else jumping ship?

Im getting a sim free one, then at end of contract will go Simplicity or jump ship I reckon. Definitely a bit disappointing - to get a similar deal to what I'm on now, I have to go 24 months.

There is no way I'm going to 24 months but maybe they have priced it so you feel you have to! Clever but also damn annoying...

I'm going over to Tesco Mobile, £15pm, 300 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data with fair usage. Plus cashback makes it £13.50pm

**** o2! They've really annoyed me these last few months

I am slightly gutted about o2's new tariffs - I'm currently on Simplicity 600mins/1000 texts/Unlimited 3G for £20

Currently I do around 800 - 900MB of 3G a month - which means when the new rules come into effect, I think I'll have to pay an extra £5 a month to extend my data limits to 1GB :(

I shouldnt give it much thought as I am stuck with them for another 16 months. Im starting to think more n more about just saving up and buying the iphone 4 on pay n go in a couple of months seeing as I am probably going to have to spend £400ish to early upgrade anyway..

The last time they changed the iPhone simplicity tariff, those of us who were already on it weren't affected.

I'm hoping this is the same, otherwise I'll be off.

If I do get to keep my current tariff, the best deal for me would be to stick with Simplicity and buy a PAYG iPhone 4. However, I'm not sure I really want to drop £600 on a phone right now.

I might just stick with my 3G for a while.

Which network does Tesco use?

All tarrifs drop to 500MB usage come October 1st.

Same. I'm waiting a while until I can see one in the flesh.

I dropped to Simplicity early Feb for my 3G and looking at the handset and tariff costs, I'm probably going to buy a PAYG phone instead. Not keen on being tied in again for those costs!

Have to agree with this I'll do the same in two months when my contract expires.

I have a 3GS atm and will be getting the iPhone4 unlocked and will stick with my O2 simplicity £20 rolling contract.

Prolly TalkTalk Mobile :p

I share your feelings with o2 though. Their 3G performance around the Middlesex area has deteriotated massively since the announcement of the iPhone 4. I can barely get a signal half the time.

Sadly having said that, I will most likely cut up my Simplicity 20 sim and continue to use it with my Sim Free iPhone 4 arriving next Thursday from Apple. Unless Vodaphone or Orange have a similiar tariff sim.

I keep telling myself that 3G performance will improve once the abusers are stopped due to the new data caps...

Ah, not just me then! I have the 2G iPhone and the performance has dropped significantly - more often than not, I get a connection failure when I'm browsing in Middlesex.
