Anyone else watched Final Space?

I love this show, up to episode 9, so two left and will be sad when it’s done. It’s a great mix of comedy and drama a bit like a cartoon version of Red Dwarf. Gary is hilarious, brilliant character and really funny the extent to which he despises his anti-insanity companion, KVN :D. Gary reminds me of Gob in Arrested Development.
 
Started watching thinking what on earth is this. Then watched the rest continuously. Mooncake is my favourite character since bender. Impatiently waiting for S2.
 
I finished the season last night. Really brilliant. I thought episode 9 was a bit misplaced and a bit of a sidetrack but given that the creator has a 6 season story planned (hopefully it’ll all be greenlit) expect it will help build background.

I need season 2! Will almost certainly rewatch season 1 again soon and need to find (or rename) a pet The Gary :D
 
Loved this. Binged it day one and have watched it several times since. It definitely isn't perfect, but I've thoroughly enjoyed every viewing.
The animation and music are top notch.

It wont take much tweaking to polish this up to perfection for season 2. Fantastic series. Highly recommended.

Nice series, agree with above comment its like an red dwarf cartoon accept funny.

Season 2 was green lit early this year, its confirmed for 2019 and the creator says he has 6 seasons worth of ideas.
 
Just started watching this - love it. Mooncake is awesome, "The" Gary starts off as annoying but more tolerable as time goes on. KVN reminds me of the robot from Borderlands (not a bad thing). I had absolutely no idea that the Lord Commander was David Tennant...sounds nothing like him!

It's not as funny as R&M, but I find it more 'likable'.
 
You can tell that the writing and especially the dialogue needs polishing, but imho the whole is far greater than the sum of its parts in this case. The animation, music, story, characters and everything beyond and inbetween coming together elevates this from okay to great, possibly even excellent. (On the whole I think it is excellent)

I know it is flawed, but i keep coming back to it and to me that speaks volumes. Looking forward to season 2, i loved the 1st.
 
I really enjoyed S1, it had an atmosphere and sentiment I wouldn't expect from a daft cartoon. The Merry Shelby soundtrack really makes it too. Chookity
 
Binged watched this over Christmas, depsite Gary being annoying at the beginning, he really grew on me.


The whole "I'm scared Hue" gets me everytime.
