I've got to do it. That review was amazing. I find the idea that some people might buy a Zune to protest against the iPod dominance of the MP3 market really quite ironic.:o

Got a lovely iPod here and I'm thinking about getting one of the new ones.

I came in here, read the first post and though yeah right... Then read the article. :p

That is a superb piece!

Cough ******** Cough

If he really thinks that he needs to take his head out of his ****. But that does explain why there are such wierd and wacky ideas and lawsuits coming out of the music industy.

It almost makes me want to pirate music just to spite him! :p

I'm sure his buddies like to hear that talk but every song on my iPod came off original CDs I'm afriad... Doug.

Haha, I think not buying one of these lemons is not protest enough. I might have to go out and buy every other mp3 player on the market just to show it the deserved amount of contempt :)

yeah... and you think everyone else is the same as you? i dont think so mate.

The music industry wants it desperately. The industry has been pressuring Apple to abandon its flat 99 cent pricing and start charging more for "hot" tracks.

Apple has stood firm against this, insisting that low, uniform prices keep sales high and discourage the iTunes Store's users from downloading music illegally.

and apple is perfectly right!

Im preety sure thats still illegal. As its not software over a certain value its deemed not of high enough worth to be backed up.

TBH if it is considered illegal there should be a change in the law.

only reason zune tempted me was the wifi, but then i realised i wont know anyone who has a zune that feels sad enough to use the wifi with me.

Obsolete bit of kit.

I love my ipod.
