Just pre orderd on steam shame it has GFWL but its not the end of the world. I have played the Xbox version and it looked stunning. The PC version should look great.

The gameplay felt more like the ordinal Dirt with a higher focus on proper rally events. I did a race with an audi quatro and that was a nice experience. The american X games crap is tonned down somewhat although Ken Block is all over this game :D

cant wait to see it on PC, Dirt 2 was a fun game that had me playing for ages and in DX11 it looked stunning

I really like DiRT2, I'll definitely be buying DiRT3 as well but not on release, I've got so many games to get through that it's pointless me buying most games on release as by the time I come to play it it'll have halved in price. :p

Valve games and oddworld games for me are the exception however :D. I bought NFS Shift and Undercover, and I'm looking to buy TDU2, so no more driving games for a while. :p

i'd imagine i will put this on the must buy at somestage list,

as long as the xgames crap is toned down

What is everyones problem with GFWL?

I will be getting loved the 1st and 2nd but only played on xbox but got a good PC now so looking even more forward to it.

Yes, but I'll get it after it's released in case Codemasters screw up with this in a similar fashion to F1 2010. Also, if it's like DiRT 2 it'll be bundled with everything.

Bought Dirt 2 a while ago and Ive only just gotten round to giving it some time but that stuff really grates. Great graphics, decent arcade handling but it really does try a bit too hard on that front.
Having said that though its not quite as bad as TDU 2 in that respect, "The Wilder brothers are squabbling with Stuart again!", oh **** off!.

Althought it does look awesome I think I'll wait for the demo (which I'm sure should be on Steam possibly the same time of the actual release?). But I will probably end up buying it.

+1
definitely want dirt 3, almost finished lost planet 2 and then iv got like 5 other games to still play through yet so it will have to wait til im finished with those.

What controller will you play with, wheel or pad? Was Dirt 2 ok with a pad or is a wheel much better?

I'm not keen on the graphics engine (every ego engine game looks yellow) but yes I'll be getting it.

Especially like how theres more of a focus on "proper" rallying, didnt like any of the xgames rubbish in d2.

You thought wrong (unfortunately!).

I didn't mind the x-games stuff, what I really found tedious was the raid and landrush events, as the vehicles were just horrible to drive.

Those are the events I liked the best. :)
I was excited by Dirt 3, but the focus they've been talking about on rally-style events puts me off a bit. I enjoy them, but I don't want to be doing them all the time. I'll have to wait till I see reviews to get an idea of the variety.
