Anyone getting the Spider-Man 3 game this Friday?

Anyone getting this? I remember playing the first one (I think) on PS2 and it was quite fun. Normally movie games are crap but I enjoyed this.

Thought I'd get this on the PS3 instead of on the 360 as there is a Collectors edition which has an extra playable character and some other stuff. It may come out as DLC for 360 later, but I reckon the will probably look the same on both consoles give or take a bit.

I think it's out on every conceivable format on the same day as the movie is released on Friday.

Going to get the PS3 exclusive edition this friday, looks fun i enjoyed the spidey2 game on ther PS2 (not the PC version though). Wasnt sure if it was worth the extra £10 or so but if i didnt id only want to know what i was missing

I will rent it. If I bought it, that would be out of desperation for something new to play

The one I enjoyed most was the psone spiderman game. Since then they haven't ever really been that great.

Its more than a tenner. The normal edition can be had for £38 online. But the Collectors Edition is exclusive to a certain games store in the UK. They are charging £55 !! £17 pounds more. Normally it tends be £40 for normal games and £50 for CE. They are taking the mick,I can;t understand why it is exlclusive to 1 shop only.

Thankfully the games are region free so I have ordered a USA CE one for £40

I might get the Wii version if the controls turn out as good as they look

Otherwise these games have been the same structure for too long now and get very dull once story mode has been beaten.

I think Treyarch really got it right with the 'feel' of the game. SM2 along with Hulk Ultimate Destruction are the best superhero games out there, so this is a no-brainer for me.

I'm frantically trying to finish Ultimate Spidey before this comes!

Spiderman 2 had 5,000 polygons in the character, Spiderman 3 is going to be using 55,000.

Like the movement when swinging and etc. Looks hawt, although haven't seen enough gameplay footage.

Definately getting it because I spent ages on Ultimate Spiderman. I really enjoy just swinging through the city. (meant to be bigger then Spiderman 2)

Canadian place i use has it as 4th of May, which is an odd day since north america tends to be Tuesdays. Also the CE is only £35 there, might need to invest in that.
