Single player is fine but mp keeps crashing ??? read it might be something to do with the onboard sound card drivers? i just let vista install the default ones as advised

8600M GT, found it works fine if i plug in a set of headphones in mic socket, weird but works

Usually its a driver problem. Often the sound card. So make sure they are all up to date.

didnt help, its really weird it only effects multiplayer tho, placing something in the mic socket works lol

I remember reading about this on the official forums, I can't remember the remedy and can't do much with college internet blocking everything, I'll have a look around for the solution this afternoon!!
