Mum really wants a tablet, but it has to have office on it, a detachable keyboard with trackpad and play flash based Facebook games
Which pretty much means win8 and as much as I love win8 I find it hard to recommend a tablet due to there specs, price and lack of models.
Don't worry she uses win8 and likes it, so that's not an issue.
Does the atom handle flash games ok and any other slow downs?
Budgets only £400 which limits the options.

Skygo works perfectly, sometimes its a little fiddly using the arrows to navigate around the planner but its perfectly doable, havent really played with iplayer much but have just had a quick go and was easy enough to use on the touch screen via desktop, I got it to replace a HP DM1 laptop and havent had any real problems using it, ive bought a bluetooth keyboard with touchpad for it should I ever need to do much in office or play a little half life
