Anyone having issues with xbox live?

How well does the PSN run in comparison? I don't want to hear about all the missing extras like friends list etc, just:

A) How easy is it to get the thing connected to your router?
B) Does it hold connection without complaining and needing to be setup again.
C) Whats the quality of the connection/play like once your up and running? does it lag and so on.

no different that setting it up with xbox360, i've had mine wired and now its presently wireless via my router, takes seconds, doesn't need setting up again and holds connection?, and i've not seen any lag on the games i play, COD4, Burnout Paradise Demo, RFOM, Motorstorm although i do have 20meg BB.
 
Thanks for the info it all sounds good and I think I could do without all the extras that I have to pay for on xbl. Its really started annoy me over the last couple months and now the GF has a 360 I could probably do without mine.

A) Very easy!
B) Yes
C) Lags a lot on private servers but on the public Sony hosted ones they're great.
 
I have had no menus loading since i got back home yesterday. I have been having to put a game in to check friends list etc...

Mine took a minute to login through the console a few mins back. But in 4 minutes it has downloaded 5% of 300 in HD, so can't complain!! (No luck with logging onto the xbox.com website without continuous refreshes though).

people still having probs?

I was working fine this morning....gone on for a quick game of cod4 and i can't get any games up......keeps crashing and freezing telling me i need a network connection.
 
isn't there anywhere to complain to?

it's the first time i've had issues with live, but it's bloody annoying that we pay for a service which isn't being provided!
