Anyone here a celebrity?

My brother used to do internet provisioning for some BBC productions (Question Time at certain locations, etc.) and was aware of some public figures, etc. browsing these forums in their down time.

OP now has to do some digging on every single post to see if anyone’s telling the truth. I know some are real and genuine.

I really did get slapped in you been tangod. I’m the tango man.

I used to wear an orange overall when I was up a ladder painting the outside of my house back then. The number of teenagers who would shout up "you know when you've been Tango'd" got rather tedious :).
Now I have someone to blame...:). I may sue for psychological damages. ;)

I was a bit famous at school, I was a bit of a runner, had my name in all the local papers and apparently had a bit of a following. Short lived though.

I've appeared on prime tv a number of times, quite often without my permission:eek:

Mind you i did get to see family members on the same program that i hadn't seen for a while.

God i loved crimewatch

Met Margaret Thatcher as a kid when she visisted my school, gave her a stinkface (unintentionally) which was captured in a photo in the local press, turns out I was surprisingly based for a 5-year-old child.

Headlined London Astoria a couple times back in the late 90s with my band

Had my music played on radio 1 and Kiss FM several times over the past few years

Go on then... which band? I used to frequent the Estoria back in the late 90's.

In the early 80s my band at the time were on Pebble Mill At One doing a couple of 60s songs.
In the late 80s another band were on New Faces doing an Eagles song and Mickie Most & Nina Myskow gave us a right roasting :)
It took me ages to hold my head up again locally.
We also changed our name for the show and told them we had disbanded out of embarrassment and just carried on gigging with our normal name because the contract said they would want 20% for the life of the act.
