I'm from Dorset, so WELL into Barn Dances, proper rural upbringing. Get on the cider, have a laugh with the locals, it's really easy to get into. The best bit is that if you don't know what you're doing, everyone gets you up dancing. Before you know it, you'll be having an awesome time.

Its a far cry from the usual night out on the town!

I'm 48 and don't worry much about being "cool" these days, but barn dancing AND in a church AND without booze, is pushing it a bit
