Downloaded it last weekend on that deal

Not played for a while but played 2k3/4 none stop for a fair few years, hopefully get back into this, just need a good ini

My ini tweaks amount to turning off the depth-of-field and bloom, enabling death messages (so you can see little 'x' killed 'y' in small text like in 2k4), disabling weapon bob and landing shake, and making the mini-map a bit smaller...thats it afaik.

In the game itself I turned down post-processing to vivid from the highest setting. The game looks much brighter and colourful after all those changes. Google "UT3 ini tweaks" for more info, and don't forget to backup our current config files before making changes!

I have this, can't remember my ingame name atm though.

Last time I ran it though it took four or five attempts to get onto a decent server with enough people on etc...

if i go on it now i feel like i have to 'force' myself to play it, and sometimes i never even join a game before just quitting out again
i want to play it but i have been playing this game type since the UT99 days but a lack of players and populated servers puts me off, and the older UT's are just too old for me now that im used to the graphic power of UT3
