Or even the bug sweeper man... I mean, if you're getting someone in to check for bugs, it's worth bugging... right?

All you need is a strategically placed mobile phone on silent mode and auto answer and you have yourself an ad-hoc eavesdropping device. You can even record the call on some phones.
