So as we all know, lemon Fanta WAS amazing! But it got changed, and now doesn’t taste like it used to when it first came out (it’s now full of sweeteners etc)

I tried this stuff in Italy a few months ago, and it’s like the best tasting lemon soda I’ve ever had. So just thought I’d share if anyone misses lemon Fanta (as it is garbage now ) and wanted an alternative with no sweeteners or crap added to it!

This is nice, but expensive.

I had a lemon one the other day. Yeah it doesn't taste like it used to. Shame. Everything gets changed for the worse in the name of health compliance.
The orange fanta still tastes nice to me.

I have seen that in a few Italian restaurants in London over the years. I did have it when I was working in Italy a few times, very refreshing.

Been drinking a lot of that over the last week (currently in Sardinia) - must admit it's good, very good

The other way to look at it is that taxpayers are now reducing their subsidisation of the real costs of sugary drinks to society (costs borne by the NHS/companies/taxpayers). You can still buy drinks with as much sugar as you want in it, it’s just that they are now a little more expensive, better reflecting the real cost of them and not just the pure costs of production.

It's going to be one of those things the new generation will not know what the old people are complaining about. It's always tasted like this. Why would you put more sugar in it.

Not had a can of Lemon Fanta in while but do remember enjoying it, my go-to lemon drink at the moment is Sainsbury's own Cloudy Lemonade probably originally picked up based on price more than anything else .

Just picked one of these up for the first time in years! Certainly doesn't have the thirst busting edge I remember, tastes like they are mixing sweeter and actual sugar now? Is that new?
