Why would a NZ or Australian keyboard have a pound sign? No one uses pounds, not even in Europe.
Dunno, I've never used dollars, yet my keyboard has the symbol...

People forget about the smaller supermarkets. Though many lines are 5-10% more expensive.Even my suburban Tesco Express has cucumbers and tomatoes this evening at 9pm.
Know people buying loo roll fairly easily during the loo roll gate of March 2020. When the 80,000sqm stores had none !
It’s the same with scratch cards. Ran out of the £1 cards. Suggested customers to try these and petrol stations. The way some customers reacted felt like we are the only shop in the area doing lottery!

Said to customers whinging about the lack of tomatoes “Economists did warn Brexit would cause price rises and supply issues”. This sounds neutral and ends their moaning. Or “there are millions in the world that don’t have access to the choices of food we have”
