Anyone not like being overtaken?

I find it very amuzing when I get overtaken and about a minute or 2 I'll be behind them at the interestion or traffic light.

thats so embarrasing if youre the overtaker. you go through all the effort to overtake, 20 seconds later there is traffic ahead and then you get caught up with :D

i once actually turned off at some traffic lights due to this very reason. i ended up going on a massive detour just to save face :o

Thats why I rarely overtake around here, as you're guaranteed to be stuck behind someone slower than the person you just went past.

So you keep to the limit by breaking it?

How would you react if a Ferrari overtook you at 80. Would you still attempt to overtake it?

On a bit of road that i knew i might just for the laugh, i mean come on, half you guys seem to have no fun driving! You take it too seriously.

Like when i did the porsche on the a419, i did him and then he blew me out of the water, it put a smile on my face just messing about like that, well worth a giggle.

Never overtaken anyone, I've had the time and distance to but hardly worth the effort on roads I know.

On the motorway tho people are hopeless, incapable of keeping a steady speed.

Thankfully my dad taught me to watch what is happening behind you and thus I manage to regularly hold 80 indicated all the way along a motorway.

Also when people pull out into your lane they never speed up in their own. Some **** pulled out in front of me doing 60 when he had plenty of space between him and the lorry to accelerate.

Although I have to say I spend far too much time in the middle lane, although when im there I keep up with the traffic but so many people just don't let you out from the inside lane so I think sod it and stick with the middle lane traffic.

Having driven a Discovery TD5 around for the last two years, I'm quite used to being overtaken. In fact, I'd prefer them to overtake than have them sit inches off the rear bumper.

i was wearing my brawn jacket and cap on way to a job earlier and i swear lots more people have started over taking me and accelerating fiercely since i've worn it lol.

90% of the people i overtake it angry, not sure why. My main problem is ill overtake someone drifting along at 40 in 50s/60s, only to get him tailgate me through 30mph zones... so yeah maybe thats why they get angry?

I had some numpty sat in the middle lane of the M4 last weekend, nothing in lane 1. I flash him as I pass...as in 'stop blocking people's way'.

He went mental in his car, waving his arms about, flashing etc...

Hokaaaayyyyy....
