I am everywhere...
I have noticed how each section of the forum on here seem to have "expert" that can sometimes come across like they even own those section. Here is what i noticed. Also how allaince seem to be formed and might suggest a verbal rebellion..

General discussion feature some regular posters like me, zip, dirty dog, etc but when some debate do come up you can bet your monies that some "stars" would feature and would literaly "hijack" the thread. You know what i mean ;)

Here is how i see GD - VIRII, Visage, Cleanbluesky, dirty dog etc seem to form some sort of "allainace" against anything to do with Islam etc. While you can bet you last monies that VIRII will argue to the last bit with Visage. So overall i think VIRII is (or must feel like) the untouchable, Landlord etc of GD?

Motors.
If you are after a super car that can do 3miles to a gallon and travel the speed of light, You can be sure that Fox will come along to recommend something you dont ask him. This quote might be true...?
Once again you were making him feel small which you have a habit of doing whether its an accident, speeding, a choice of car that does not suit you (do I need to go on...).

Speakers Corners....
I think there are about 10 posters on so who effectively runs this section and think all other opinions are just wrong or unnecessary.

Games and Console

A place where ps3 is somehow not loved on comparison to other game consoles be sure to expect some sort of anti-sony statement at least 7 times a week :p I think the land lords of this seciton will be Mr Latte, Kreee and the regulars guys.

Anyone else notice this? And do we have this going on other section of the forum

Everyone has their quirks. I could list the negatives about you being here, but that wouldn't be very nice would it? :)

I find that certain people have good knowledge of a certain area and when they have to answer the same question over and over again they sometimes get a little short. I have full sympathy for these people.

As for someone being untouchable, certainly in GD, it just doesn't happen.

Agreed, although you tend to find some people seem think they are but they're sadly mistaken :p Most people have more sense though and doubt it even occurs to them.

Perhaps, These characters on otherhand do make the section with their regular posting and often encyclopedic knowledge. I do get cheesed off with the way as an enthusiast rather than amateur expert my posts are sometimes analysed to death and then slated but on the otherhand if the poster wants accurate information then I guess it has to be done..

I have to say I don't understand people who only post in one section.

I never even browse the sections - I just click on 'new posts' and see what people have been talking about recently. Having said that I do probably post in GD the most just because of the shear volume of threads that certain people create...

They are just active users and get involved properly with threads answering questions they are asked. I much prefer that than the one line smart comments you get from people who dissapear and do not back up there claims.
As for being untouchable that is BS as anyone who breaks the rules gets Sussed.

I don't think the comment about Fox's attitude was flattering. :p

These relationships are only whats perceived - if you want to be an untouchable, be one.

For example, if there's a thread about being black or living in Brixton, who always pops up  ...

.. ;) ?

There are people on these forums who annoy the hell out of me on one forum, yet they are much better to have a discussion with on another.

Anyone else find this?
