You can't place them in your town, only friends towns which is why people trade them.

The snakes only "hatch" when you tap the eggs and there is a active snake limit of 50 (I think). So you have to whack them as you break the eggs, otherwise you get a warning that pops up which mentions that your town is over run with snakes.
 
Is anyone else having problems getting on tonight?

I'm not sure if you guys donated all those eggs and its making my game freeze on start up :(

Gutted, wouldn't let me back on until I updated so never got there in the end :(

Why am i not surprised?

To be fair, it has been running fine since i first got the app. Hopefully they are fiddling with things to stick a nice update in.
 
Hey np - i panicked when it asked me to log in - then when I tried it loaded up the "create origin account" - closed app and resorted to google to see if I was alone in the problem lol
