Imagine spending £1500 to pre-order a 3080ti that has the same VRAM as a 6700XT lol...
Let me guess, you're one of those that pays more for a laptop with a 1tb mechanical drive rather than a 256gb ssd...........Imagine spending £1500 to pre-order a 3080ti that has the same VRAM as a 6700XT lol...
I would have thought they do pre orders when they got a fixed price for pre order with the supplierNot sure if many retailers will bother with pre orders. If they do they have to honour the price they sold it at, much better to list them when they get them in stock like they are now at inflated prices.
Should have been an £800 card surely? No idea what it will MSRP at. GroanI would have thought they do pre orders when they got a fixed price for pre order with the supplier
I think the £800 mark was based on a rumour of price for China.Should have been an £800 card surely? No idea what it will MSRP at. Groan

Hard to get some balance on the current situation but a year or so ago they were saying this....I think the £800 mark was based on a rumour of price for China.
It'll destroy a 6700xt though, so the VRAM is quite an insignificant point.
Are you just here to troll, how about I do same in AMD threads?
I'll pickup a 3080ti from the Nvidia store (whichever retailer they chose to use this time). May take a bit of patience to get a stock drop, but I've got my 3080 (that I've had since early November) to use in the meanwhile
