A little tbh. My mum is terrified of it and always went around unplugging everything and drawing all the curtains when I was younger so naturally my initial reaction is fear but once the first few strikes hit I do enjoy watching a good storm.

I love them although I do admit yelping a bit a few weeks ago when a massive clap hit right over my house. Wasn’t fear but it was so sharp, instant and unexpected, it made me jump. Everyone in the house and probably the street did the same thing.

I love storms, the closest to be scared I've been was when I was at Wet N Wild in Florida and a storm bubbled up above while I was up high queuing for a water slide. There was a massive lightning strike just outside the waterpark and everyone was quickly shouted at over the speakers to get out of the water :p

OH Is scared stiff of thunder and lightning, but doesn't scream.
Me I love it and always seem to sleep through the most violent of storms :( and the cat will sit in the rain watching lightning for hours

Was Chief Brody doing the shouting?

Not scared but definitely respect the power.

Love going for a walk after a good thunderstorm, the air always feels so fresh.

Nobody is scared of a lion in a enclosure at the zoo, but go in that enclosure, and you will feel fear.

Likewise, no reason to fear lighting in a building or a car etc.

So really the question should be directed at people who, are exposed in the outdoors, away from any buildings or cars or cover, who are in a thunderstorm.

Poll is not needed, if the fear is rational, the answer is 90% are scared, 10% are not, if the fear is irrational, 10% are scared, 90% are not.

Mostly outdoor job, often holding something metallic, damn right I'm nervous when the count between seeing lightening and hearing thunder gets close!

Love them.
Gf runs around the house unplugging everything like a lunatic....
Bad juju with the thunder spirits

Years ago my mates house got hit by lightening.
Blew everything, and I mean everything up.
Their whole house was full of brand new everything a couple of weeks later.

His old man would make sure everything WAS plugged in after that any any sign of a storm.

However you probably only want to do this if your properly insured.
