Anyone sent their Jailbroken iPhone V1 for a waranty repair ?

My repair has updated saying they have replaced my iPhone. :)

I personally will keep mine and use it. I dont think the V2 iPhone on PAYG will be cheap and even if it is then i dont know if i can use my simplicity in it!
 
I want to get my screen fixed or whatever it needs doing to it because there are a few rainbow coloured lines/scratches in the centre of my screen.

How would I go about getting this fixed? would my local apple store be able to get me a new screen replacement?

My phone is Ziphoned/Jailbroke, will I have to restore it back before i go and see them or will this not matter as there isnt anything wrong with the insides.
 
How do I restore it? *blushes stupidly* I dont know! It must have been scratched somehow but i dont know how, the huge line in the centre i want gone the most as its so visable.

Will they repair it for me ? Or will it void the warrenty on it when/if the find out its jailbroken or can i do it so they dont find that out?

How do i go about this? Am i even explaining this very well :p

Realised the above was for headphone dude ^_^ but yeah seriously, anyone know what I can do?

Well first you need to download bootneuter from the installer because Ziphoning it downgrades the boot loader from 4.6 (i think) to 3.9, so before you send it off you need to change it back with bootneuter to 4.6, then there's no way to tell you ever unlocked it :)

Also I don't think the apple store will be able to repair it as they're an apple reseller, not a proper apple store, they'll be able to give you advice though on where to send it and how much it'll be probably :p
