Anyone still use their powerball?

Oh and the thumb flick technique.... grasped that within the first hour of owning mine. That was non stop "wtf"-ness the whole time though ;) ... then it just clicked suddenly and I realised how easy it was. All about the timing.

I bought one thinking it would help rehabilitate my healing broken arm, I have compressed nerves around my wrist area so I cant even do a circular motion with my wrist. Everyone laughs at me every time I try to use it because i keep dropping it.
 
The first day I got mine I did it for 7 hours straight, next day I couldn't move either of my arms at all, stayed like that for atleast 3 days :(
 
May aswell buy one brand new, they're quite cheap and you can play with them when they arrive with free delivery.

Edit: You'd be better off buying one with the strap which holds it onto your wrist aswell, until you get used to it you'll drop it a lot :p

I still have mine, I should probably start using it more, does it help with RSI because my wrists sometimes feel weak after typing for a while.
 
I recently started using mine again. For those people who sold theirs on, I am pretty sure my Powerball came with a no quibble refund guarantee if I ever got bored with it... (words to that effect)
 
I never came close to dropping mine at all. The whole point in it partly is to increase your grip levels so when you feel it getting too much surely you just let off the rpm till you are confident? If you drop them you can break the LCD as well so be careful with that.
 
Got mine yesterday, managed 11,086. Now my hands ache to hold it because i was using it too much :p

Gonna go for 12,000 tomorrow.
 
We have three of them in the office so far - get some funny looks from peeps further up the office wondering what that funny noise is what we're doing?

Our highest so far is 12410 :p
 
Ive managed to get to 11500 so far, my trick is the use my whole arm to get it going quite fast, then just my wrist to get it to a top speed. Can't seem to get higher than 11500 yet and havent for a few days.
