I'm sorry, I've been wondering since the first time you said it. What do you mean by 'stompy'?
I can only find this one pic of the leftovers of my mini stompy in action, buried under my old desk!

Stompy, aka the Stompmonster, was built after donations from OcUK members, as a "supercomputer" for distributed computing on seti projects. http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18485338
In days of old, when someone overtook another in seti land it was referred to as a stomp, as in you were trampling all over them as you kicked them out of the cell they inhabited relegating them to a dungeon below. If you were generous, and followed etiquette wanted to taunt them when a stomping was impending, you gave them a parp (posted a warning thread). And of course if you wanted to show someone respect, you might call them "sah", rather than "sir", sah being a play on seti at home Please remember is is a henious offence if you turn your computer "not on", and that could give result in you receiving punishment for slacking from spanky. Hope that's clear as mud.
I used to have one of those CPU coolers - noisy SOB
they were ok for bedroom use on 7 volts
