Basically as it says. I'd really like to give out some of my warcraft free trial invites. There are benefits for both people, but mainly you'd get some extra xp and a helping hand from me, and I'd get a mount if you stayed a couple of months.

Anyone interested?

personal opinion don't start playing as it will suck u in
but worth playing ofc :)
(addict of more years than i would like to admit lol)

take a step back form the kb and burn your computer...

I was adicted to EQ the EQ2 for 7 years...

I can say I have been MMORG free for the last 3 years

Really? I played it for a month or so and decided not to carry the subscription onwards. Not saying it's rubbish as it's a good game and looks the part, it's just LotRO appealed to me more.

Now would be the best time since launch to give it a try. Well, when I say "now" I mean after tomorrow as all the level 1-60 zones are being revamped and implemented then.

I personally wouldn't worry about the "this game will destroy your life" or "it sucks, what the hell is the appeal to it?!" comments that will no doubt plague this thread. WoW is easy pickings for people to dig it as it's so successful and if you can't manage your game time, well, lets not get into that debate :).

But as with any MMO, a lot of the game depends on meeting the right sort of people (Guild). Good luck to anyone who decides to give it a go, it's a great game.

having never played wow before or really any mmorpg type games i'm intriqued

invite please if theres one going

I thought any one starting now would be 5 years behind the curve, even with the reboot. I could only imagine the amount of abuse an actual genuine "fresh off the boat" newbie would get from groups who are re-rolling their latest level 85 toon and know all the instances blindfolded.

It does become a job though, that's why I quit in 2005. Before it became too mainstream... :D

I think you just countered your own argument nicely lol. Since it became mainstream everything has become a lot more simplified. Most stuff you can get without even raiding now.

For new folks, there's a thread for interest in a guild for OcUK rerollers here, should be a good place to join if you're just starting too. I don't know if I classify as a reroller since I've only been playing for a few months and haven't levelled a character past 73, but I'm really looking forward to it.
